Our partner TAEC (Traditional Arts and Ethnology Center ) is a local NGO which preserves traditional know-how, supports local artisans and has established a museum of traditional crafts in Luang Prabang .
Traditional manufacture of silk and cotton scarves
The Batik patterns are made with wax according to the traditional methods of the Hmong ethnic group . Drawn by hand , each pattern is unique . So we can not guarantee that the pattern of your scarf will be the same as the one in the photo. But in any case, the pattern will be beautiful and original! The assurance of owning an item that is unique !
Dyeing is also done by hand with plants. This explains a variation in tone going from sky blue to more intense blue.

Washing & maintenance
Our products have been handcrafted in whole or in part. Their manufacture required many hours and a lot of patience from their craftsmen. These creations have a story. Value it by taking care of them!
Washing
The Apsara Dress can be machine washed if you use the delicate cycle and if the temperature does not exceed 30 °.
Interview
To smooth it out, you can iron it once it is dry.
To keep it for a long time, be careful not to catch its stitches.
